Three cheers for Mr. Farrukh Bashir for arranging yet another Torch Rally. Torch Rally on 22nd March after Maghrib Prayers is an old tradition of Havelian. Which is being revived by Mr. Farrukh Bashir (Farzand-e-Havelian) for last 15 years. This tradition started in the memory of Shaheed Ghazi Daud Shah. Who was killed on 23rd of March 1940 in Havelian City by British Army. Youth of Havelian is requested to participate in the event. JZK

Who is Ghazi Daud Shaheed!
You might have seen the name on Govt High School Havelian and a monument in Havelian Bazar. Ghazi Daud Shah was a citizen of Havelian considered as one of the earliest martyrs of Tehreek-e-Pakistan. He was gunned down by British Army on 23rd March 1940 in Havelian Bazar
