PCB appointed Aamir Sohail  as Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Team

Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has chosen former batsman Aamir Sohail as team’s chief selector. The former left handed batsman will now select the men’s cricket team along with selection committee. While the women and junior squads will be selected under the supervision of former Test cricketer M Ilyas, according to inside PCB sources. The dual decisions are only waiting a formal announcement. It is worthy to note that the PCB has been seeing many hasty decisions since Zaka Ashraf’s reinstatement as the board’s chief following a court decision.–Staff Reporter
