Press Club: Large number of students from all departments of Havelian campus took an action against the illegal hiring and transfers of staff at Hazara University Havelian campus.

Students said that "All appointments should be made on merit basis. Ads should be posted in media for selection of any required staff in University."

Students also announced to create a committee which will monitor  the ongoing irregularities and corruption.

They said, "We respect all of our teachers but the selection of HODs and other staff should strictly be on Merit basis. Ajmal Khan (HOD of Management Sciences), Fawad Saleem (HOD of Economics) and Ahsan Khan (HOD of I.T) and all of others who were transferred illegally should be reinstated back on their respective designations.

Students said that strike will continue until our demands are fulfilled and illegals hiring stopped.
